Description:

This system automatically controls home appliances (like fans, heaters, or ACs) based on room temperature using a temperature sensor. An LCD display shows real-time temperature data and system status. It improves energy efficiency and comfort by maintaining optimal room temperature without manual intervention.

Materials:

  • Arduino board (Uno/Nano)

  • Temperature sensor (e.g., DHT11, DHT22, or LM35)

  • 16x2 LCD display (with I2C module optional for easier wiring)

Working Principle:

  1. The temperature sensor continuously monitors room temperature.

  2. The Arduino reads this data and displays it on the LCD.

  3. If the temperature exceeds or drops below set thresholds, the Arduino triggers a relay to turn ON/OFF a connected fan or heater.

  4. The system maintains a comfortable temperature automatically, adjusting appliances in real time.
