The system uses a fingerprint scanner to authenticate the student, displays attendance confirmation on an OLED screen, and records the data in a centralized cloud or local database. The IoT-based attendance system begins by enrolling each student's fingerprint in the database. When a student places their finger on the fingerprint scanner, the system compares the scanned fingerprint with the stored data to authenticate the individual. Once verified, the system logs the attendance by recording the time and date. A message confirming the attendance, such as “Attendance Recorded,” is displayed on the OLED screen. The system then transmits the data to a cloud database via a Wi-Fi module, enabling real-time updates and remote access. Administrators can retrieve attendance records remotely, while the system automatically generates reports for analysis, such as tracking absenteeism or tardiness.
